Go to the movies. Wear cotton clothing. Keep your room clean. Cross the lights. Do your laundry. Take hot showers. Use sunscreen. Surround yourself with colour. Wear socks. Go to the local theatre. Don’t stay in bed. Laughter is the best medicine. Rest your eyes. Have a break every few hours. Stand your ground. Get a haircut. Walk in the shade. Sleep on clean sheets. Wash your face. Drink water. Buy lottery tickets. Drink juice in the kitchen of a morning. Walk in the moonlight. Buy a new pillow every six months. Write in journals. Drink coffee. Be nice to your family. Read poetry. Sing loudly to music. Eat Greek yoghurt. Talk on the phone. Tell someone you love them. Don’t worry about unfinished plans. Don’t cry over people who don’t love you. Watch films. Open your curtains. Smoke cigarettes on balconies. Clean. Appreciate art. Tell someone how you feel. Nap in the afternoon. Cook pasta. Dance around the house in your underwear.
